We started talking about this last week but the tournament had just begun. Again I think the production of this tournament was great and I just want to commend the TaKe and the production team over at TakeTV fot the awesome quality tournament, Also the casters were great as well as the guest casters.

Congrats to Savjz who ended up winning the tournament. Mirrari taking 2nd and 3th and 4th going to Theude (T H E U D E B O Y S) and Xixo.

I think one of the most surprising things I saw in this tournament was Trump topping his group in Group Stage #2. Now of course I think Trump is skilled enough to top a group but he had Kolento in his group so I'd say that's pretty surprising.

were this past week taking play on Sunday and Monday at the Hammerstien Ballroom in NYC. Did you happen to catch the tournament Cookie?

I caught just about all of it and I attended the event in person on Sunday. I even got to speak with ThatsAdmirable.

Overall I thought the tournament was really well organized the casters did a great job and it was really entertaining. No down time, constant entertainment with interviews and caster analysis / banter between games. What did you think of the tournament quality Dragon?

One of the biggest surprises for me was Tides losing to Tarei and then Tarei in his interview firing all sorts or shots, it was crazy. What did you find surprising Cookie?

Thank you for your interest in the Hearthstats Invitational! We have received your application and are excited to inform you that you have been selected to compete in this season's Hearthstats Grinder's League!

Each player will be assigned to one of the eight groups and the top player of each group will be chosen to compete in the next season's Challenger's League against some of the best Hearthstone players in the world! If you were able to tune in to our Inaugural Hearthstats Invitational last month, you would have seen players such as Amaz, Reynad and Savjz go head to head and now is your turn to join them!

We will be running 8-man (or woman), single elimination, HearthStats.net League Qualifiers (HSLQ’s) with each HSLQ granting its winner qualification for the Challenger League.

was last weekend featuring a lot of great players including Theude's team mate, Neirea, who made a big splash into the spotlight with a next level play. I caught most of the tournament how about you guys? Dragon?

Group A  - Kolento, FaKe, Firebat, Xixo - Kolento and Fake advanced

Group B  - Neirea, Savjz, Hyped, Kibler - Neirea and Savjz advanced. neirea had a crazy play filling Hyped board with welps so he couldn't Alexstraza then backstabbing his own Leroy so Hyped couldn't trade his mad scientist for Ice Block. Hyped however responded with a cone of cold on his mad scientist and the fire blasting to get his ice block. Really great plays by both players.

Semi Finals/Finals - Savjz beats Kolento 4-1 mostly using the Strifecro Druid that Kolento popularized, Neirea beat Fake 4-2, and Finally Savjz beat Neirea 4-2

Were on yesterday and that was a long tournament. I think it went upwards of 10 hours. My hats off to Frodan and Chanman for casting for that long. Congratulations to RDU beating Koykuki in the finals. Although I wanted to mention how well Trump and Sjow did. Trump beat Gaara 4-1. Sjow beat Hyped ?-?

Kel Thuzad was really good in RDU's Paladin deck completely shifting games in his favor. Let's revisit this card. At first it seemed like a win more card now to me it seems like it can be a big swing card just like the black Knight can be. What do you think Theude?
